What quality requirements apply?
We look for clean grey cast iron turnings from fresh arisings, dry, total residual moisture below 3% (max. 1.5% paraffins and max. 1.5% water), free of rust, steel, coarse parts, mill scale, grinding sludge and other foreign materials.
Do you also buy from traders?
Yes. We purchase from producing companies as well as from traders, provided that quality, volume and logistics fit.
How are prices determined?
Valuation is based on quality, moisture, purity, volume, location, logistics and current market conditions.
Do you buy outside Germany?
Yes, European pickup is possible by arrangement. Volume, location, quality and economic logistics are decisive.
